The bedrooms are large and in very good condition. The décor is that of the 1920s. The grey marbled bathrooms are large and in exceptional condition. Rooms offer wonderful views over La Baixa, Alfama and the Castle. The restaurant serves breakfast only and is very small, seating a maximum of 15 guests. However the hotel does provide a back-up room in the peak season. The restaurant is situated on the first floor. This is a small, traditional building with a narrow entrance. The facade is pale yellow and white, with balconies and plaster decorations. The overall appearance is typical of the beginning of the twentieth century. The small reception area has décor that recreates the refined and cosy atmosphere of the twenties. There is a bar and sitting room on the first floor. Essential hotel services available include 24-hour reception, concierge desk, foreign exchange, laundry, limousine service, child minding and visit assistance. A plus are conference/meeting rooms for up to 25 persons, fitted with audio-visual equipment.
